Lamont Ellebb, CEO

Champagne Closings and Security Expert

Running a home security business has Lamont Ellebb not only installing safety devices but also attending final walkthroughs with buyers. It’s during this time that he teaches them the home safety tips everyone should know.

“My job is to prevent bad things from happening to good people,” says Ellebb, CEO of both Champagne Closings and Security Expert.

One day, Ellebb put on a suit and tie and showed up to a closing with a bottle of champagne and personalized flutes for the happy buyers. The gesture was so well received, he decided to launch a separate company, Champagne Closings, to transform broker’s open houses and traditional open houses into luxurious experiences.

Champagne Closings provides bartenders, DJs, caterers, event sponsors, live entertainment, servers and greeters at open houses and agents do the rest. “Those who make the VIP invite list leave wanting more and look to grow their business by partnering with me,” says Lamont Ellebb, CEO of Champagne Closings and Security Expert. “I love to celebrate, motivate and educate Realtors, loan officers, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, home inspectors and developers with my 25 years of home and life safety experience.”

A classy, heartfelt and memorable way to celebrate closings, Ellebb says it trumps any other gift. “What I do is not about myself; it’s about the people I serve,” he says. “I love when people succeed in life and homeownership is a win.”

Ellebb has been honored in The Marquis Who’s Who of America 2021 edition, belongs to the Dearborn Realtist Board and Chicago Association of Realtors. An active member of the greeters ministry and men’s ministry at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, he has spearheaded its annual Turkey Drive for the past four years, which allowed the church to donate over 2,000 turkeys. He is also the proud father of Taylor, a medical student at the University of Illinois Chicago.
