From beginner to Top Producer in three quick years, Katie LeGrand is grateful for every connection and experience her clients have offered her throughout her career. “My values are always close to me, and I am always striving to provide clients the best experience possible and ultimately set a strong example for my daughter and future son,” says LeGrand, a real estate broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.
LeGrand assists buyers and sellers throughout the city and suburbs. “This past year has allowed me the opportunity to help several families transition from the city to the suburbs. This is a difficult transition and having grown up on the North Shore allows me to have a true insider’s perspective into these areas that I can offer my clients.”
Among the Top 5% Producing Brokers at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, LeGrand doubled her business in 2020, became a Top Producer, and had a newborn baby at home. “There is nothing harder than being a new mom, but I am proud to say that my business still thrived under this huge life change,” she says. “My family is always my ‘why’ I do what I do, but that’s not to say real estate negotiations can’t be handled behind a stroller, as many were in 2020.”
Instead of focusing on the competition, she tries to learn something new from every deal, including how other agents work, which she thinks makes her a better broker at the end of the day. “I love supporting my peers and friends in the industry,” she says. Clients always point out that her approach is strategic, thoughtful and level-headed under pressure.
“Being genuine with what you do is not something you can fake,” she says. “I love what I do, and I know that shines through with my work.”
