Ann Pancotto, Real Estate Broker

The Ann Pancotto Group, Compass

Once Ann Pancotto earned her real estate license at age 25, she knew she had found her dream career. “I’ve now been in the business for 30 years,” says Pancotto, a real estate broker at the Ann Pancotto Group with Compass. She had a feeling she would love it, as her mother worked as a broker, too. “I went to college, and then I got married and had a baby,” she recounts. “It just felt natural to become a Realtor.”

Pancotto’s husband, Nick, a third-generation builder, has also been intertwined with real estate his entire life. They lead the group together, with Nick handling the commercial side and Ann taking charge of the residential. Supporting them is their daughter, Brittany Simon, who also just made Chicago Agent magazine’s Who’s Who list, and Andrea Achimas. Working with all types of buyers, sellers, renters, investors, builders and developers in the greater Chicagoland area, they get the vast majority of their business from repeat clients and referrals.

“We care a lot about our clients,” says Pancotto. “We do this full-time, and we do it not only because we’ve been doing it our whole lives, but because we absolutely enjoy it.” Our heart and soul goes into it. It’s not just a job for us; it’s our life!”

Year after year, Pancotto maintains multimillion-dollar producer status through heavy marketing, thanks to Compass’ state-of-the-art tools and staying in touch with past clients. “We’re a global network and global marketing company, so we utilize every bit of exposure you can think of,” she says. A lifelong learner, she holds multiple designations: Certified Residential Specialist, Luxury Property Specialist, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource, REO Specialist and Relocation Specialist. In addition to being a member of the National Association of Realtors and Illinois Association of Realtors, Pancotto’s been in Top Agent Magazine for the past two years.
