Extroverted and passionate, Brandy Simon is always honored to be a trusted part of a client’s journey. “I believe that transparency and honest communication are the key to a successful process,” says Simon. As a broker with Compass Real Estate and founder of 42 Latitude Group, Simon serves buyers, sellers and renters through the city, North Shore and Western Suburbs. “Living within the North Shore gives me a professional advantage,” she says. “Being a local expert makes it easy to not only sell the home, but our lifestyle.”
Building 42 Latitude Group in the spirit of inclusivity and collaboration, Simon promotes a supportive work environment so her team is equipped to provide exceptional service. “Our clients are the most important part of our business, which is why accommodating their needs is essential,” she says, noting how her clients appreciate her ability to take charge and set realistic expectations. “They frequently comment that they would have never been able to get through the process without my guidance and patience.”
Acting as both an adviser and an advocate, Simon offers a checklist-based approach and aims to understand her clients’ motivation for buying or selling prior to making any recommendations. “In order to do my job well, I need to know the whys before explaining how the process works,” she says. “Sellers may be motivated by family or finances, whereas buyers may be motivated by social interactions, schools or lifestyles. Knowing the components allows me to provide personal and individualized care.”
Simon is a second-term member of the NSBAR Professional Services Committee. Outside of work, she is training for her first 10k since COVID and, along with her husband, has instituted a mandatory game night for her family.
