Three mortgage experts are better than one is the philosophy behind The Denlow Mortgage Team at Draper and Kramer Mortgage. Composed of mortgage originators Josh Denlow, Jess Denlow and Chris Hellinga, they represent 50 years of combined experience. The trio serves Chicagoland and their other licensed states from their office in Northbrook.
Josh Denlow is the team’s lead loan officer, a 17-year industry veteran and a jack-of-all-trades mortgage expert. “I work with everyone from first-time buyers purchasing small condos in the city to jumbo borrowers buying their forever dream homes in the suburbs,” he says. A longtime member of Draper and Kramer Mortgage’s President’s Club for top-producing loan officers, Mortgage Executive Magazine ranks him among the top 1% of mortgage originators in the nation.
Jess Denlow is a seasoned mortgage originator with 19 years of experience. She specializes in home financing for those undergoing divorce. “Having gone through it myself, I understand the challenges the process involves, especially when looking to keep children in the marital home,” she says. “Resolving the new mortgage is a critical piece in a divorce settlement.”
Chris Hellinga, who has 14 years of experience in finance, invests his time in client outreach and real estate agent support. “I host virtual meetups with borrowers and our professional partners to help with their mortgage needs,” he says.
As interest rates drop to historic lows, the team has found a creative way to highlight borrower benefits. They’ve taken to social media with videos of Josh enthusiastically dunking a basketball on the court alongside messages touting the opportunity for a #slamdunkrefi or #slamdunkpurchase. The basketball analogy seems fitting for a trio who prides itself on teamwork and never dropping the ball.
Having recently entered their fourth year as a group, The Denlow Mortgage Team looks forward to bringing their unique brand of service to more homebuyers and homeowners in the years ahead.
