Stephanie Sullivan, Broker

Dream Town

Working tirelessly to ensure her clients are happy, Stephanie Sullivan views the real estate process as a group effort. “I am the team captain who relays the plan to the rest of the team, but my clients are the coaches who call the shots,” says Sullivan, a broker with Dream Town Realty. “I am there to guide, offer expertise and prevent my clients from making harmful decisions.”

Serving buyers and sellers at all price points, Sullivan has a 97% referral-based business and a proven track record as a whip-smart negotiator and solutions-oriented professional. “My clients may never know how much work I put into every transaction on the back end, but I know I’ve succeeded if they are left feeling like the process was easy and smooth,” she says.

Joining the industry 13 years ago after graduating from DePaul University with a Master of Fine Arts in acting, Sullivan began as a leasing agent before becoming an office manager and, ultimately, a licensed broker. She has earned Real Estate Negotiation Expert and Seller Representative Specialist designations and can work with clients in both English and French. “I would love to help anyone who feels they have a language barrier, as I know that working with someone who is fluent in your language not only makes the process easier but is also very comforting,” she says, adding that she strives to infuse levity into the buying and selling processes.

A passionate member of the Chicago arts community, Sullivan has acted onstage for the last 19 years and is currently spearheading a new podcast with her theater company, the Organic Theater Company, as a way to keep the doors open while theaters remain closed due to COVID-19. She is also the founder of 4 Paws Portraits, a pet painting business, and is an avid traveler, devoted pug owner and volunteer with Realtors to the Rescue, an organization devoted to helping homeless pets.
