“A mindful approach to real estate” is Lynn Vani Teng’s signature approach for guiding clients through one of life’s most exciting and complex life cycle events. Once her children were grown, Teng embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and became a residential Realtor on the North Shore and in the surrounding suburbs. With over two decades in both corporate and legal environments, coupled with 15 years as a meditation and yoga instructor, Teng finds her clientele benefits from her disciplined approach, ability to analyze markets and their variables, and overall project management skills. She leads her clients through the buying or selling process with a holistic approach, and in a supportive and focused manner.
“While I am their real estate professional, my clients are the decision-makers,” Teng says. Eager to ensure they realize their dreams, she uses a consultative approach starting with their first meeting. “We collaborate and formulate a plan based on their goals,” she explains. “Between my expertise and their passion for their sale or purchase, it becomes a living, breathing collaboration — a mindful approach to real estate.” As a result, Teng finds it extremely gratifying to be a Realtor.
Teng understands the importance of not only experience but also education and expertise. She expanded her real estate license with additional credentials to more effectively serve her clientele, becoming certified as a Real Estate Negotiation Expert, a Pricing Strategy Advisor and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative. In addition, Teng is a recipient of Zillow’s Best of Zillow designation, is eBiz-certified through Baird & Warner and is part of Baird & Warner’s New Client Development Team.
Teng lives on the North Shore with her family and their beloved Shih Tzu. Her daughter works as a producer in New York after graduating from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, while her son currently attends Lake Forest College and has the family entrepreneurial spirit.
