Karen Schwartz, Co-Owner
Laura McGreal, Co-Owner
With more than 30 years of combined experience working in real estate, Laura McGreal and Karen Schwartz deliver an around-the-clock commitment to all of their clients. As co-owners of the Laura McGreal & Karen Schwartz Group at Dream Town Realty, they understand what it means to provide world-class service to their clients, which include all types of buyers, sellers, investors, tenants and landlords. McGreal primarily focuses on the western and southwestern suburbs, while Schwartz focuses on Chicago and the North Shore. They love serving clients who are transitioning from the city to the suburbs, and vice versa. They feel this growth path offers a truly full-service, seamless experience for clients.
Both McGreal and Schwartz joined the industry directly after college, starting their careers at PulteGroup in 2003 and 2005, respectively. There they learned all aspects of the home sales and construction business, including training in sales, financing, customer service, land acquisition and development. They adapted to the sales-oriented nature of the job, becoming experts in building processes to move transactions forward and keep deals together. “The invaluable skills and experience we gained translated perfectly to our current business,” McGreal says.
After leaving PulteGroup, McGreal and Schwartz opened a brokerage together, later folding it into Dream Town Realty. With the support of a stellar team, they specialize in new construction and tailor their business style to the client. McGreal always works to set expectations first, and Schwartz focuses on making the experience as smooth and positive as possible. “Our relationships with clients are built on trust, and I ask them to trust that I am doing what is best for them when advising them,” Schwartz says.
The results speak for themselves. Both McGreal and Schwartz have been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business as Notable Real Estate Brokers, and the group was ranked as one of the top real estate teams in the six-county metro area by Chicago magazine in 2019.
