Joelle Cachey Hayes & A. Jordan Rothschild, Brokers

@properties – East Lincoln Park

Joelle Cachey Hayes started selling real estate in 2002 after being recruited by two top-producing agents. The experience of being mentored was invaluable, and she was quickly exposed to a variety of clientele, properties and price points across the city. After several years of growing her own independent business, she knew it was time to expand and find a good partner to recreate an experience similar to what she was fortunate to have.

Originally a project manager for psychological studies, A. Jordan Rothschild took a different path to his current career. “I found real estate to be the perfect intersection of my different areas of interest,” Rothschild says. “I decided not to pursue my doctorate in psychology and instead transitioned to property management. I have always been interested in architecture and interned at an architectural firm during college. Having the architectural interest and property management background has helped me serve my clients with a unique lens.”

The two first worked together when Cachey Hayes was the board president of her condo association and Rothschild was a property manager with Sudler Property Management. Years later, the two reconnected when Rothschild was working for another management company as the top leasing agent of a 4,000-unit portfolio. “Jordan expressed an interest in transitioning into sales, and I thought it was a perfect opportunity for us both,” Cachey Hayes says. “Given our professional history and complementary skill sets, it was an ideal match to grow our business.”

Cachey Hayes and Rothschild run a boutique practice, recognizing the individual needs and demands of each one of their clients. “Given these uncertain times, it’s crucial to be there for clients when they’re making emotional and impactful financial decisions,” Cachey Hayes says.
