Carrie Goodman, Broker

@properties

Throughout her career, Carrie Goodman has lived and worked in the Chicagoland area, and she uses that detailed knowledge to benefit clients. Goodman shares, “I’ve always been a community-minded person, so I learned a lot about where I lived and got involved where I could.” She was a longtime resident of Buffalo Grove and has also lived in Morton Grove, Wheeling and Arlington Heights, leading to her expertise in the north and northwest suburbs.

Before becoming a Realtor, Goodman worked as a notary loan closer. In this capacity, she learned the mortgage and title side of real estate. Additionally, she is a Certified Negotiation Expert, which is useful as she helps clients find their first homes, downsize or upsize. No matter what Goodman is juggling, her clients sense that they are important to her. She listens deeply, is always honest, and is attuned to emotions and stress. “If you asked my clients what they thought of me, I think patience is the first thing that would come to mind,” she says.

Her empathy and intuition have led to great success in her nine years as a Realtor. In 2017, Goodman won the coveted Road to Rolex award from @properties in recognition of achieving $10 million in sales, and she continues to maintain that high standard. Goodman gives back professionally by mentoring and training new agents, which she finds gratifying because she understands how hard it is to reinvent yourself and start a new career.

Goodman tends to be serious and communicate every step of the way, and clients know she truly cares. The trust she has built with her clients shows, as 95% of her business comes from referrals and repeat clients.

Goodman volunteers with the @gives back Community Fund and has been a sponsor of Buffalo Grove Pride Parade. She is an active member of Buffalo Grove’s Congregation Beth Am and enjoys practicing yoga. Her biggest source of personal pride is her family.
