Bridget Workman, Real Estate Broker

Compass Real Estate

After experiencing several relocations while growing up, Bridget Workman appreciated how a real estate professional could be a positive force during an oftentimes stressful process. Wanting to help others who might feel those same stresses, Workman joined the real estate industry and now works as a broker at Compass Real Estate, serving first-time buyers, right-sizers and investors. She specializes in the transition from city to suburbs, specifically from the West Loop, Gold Coast and Lakeview neighborhoods to the northwestern suburban and North Shore markets.

Workman naturally gravitates toward social media and digital marketing to promote listings to the modern buyer. She developed an artistic perspective over her decadelong career in the fashion industry, giving her the ability to create click-worthy content to make homes stand out in a competitive market.

Workman quickly become known for her innovative marketing initiatives and altruistic involvement in the industry. While on the advisory board of her former brokerage’s charitable foundation, she established relationships with several housing-related philanthropic organizations. She looks forward to continuing to serve these organizations and currently sits on the board of the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Network.

Workman draws on personal and past experiences to bring a sense of empathy, professionalism and creativity to her work. As someone who also is looking for her own “forever home,” she understands buyers today are often more focused on criteria like school ratings, bedroom count and affordability, and have greater flexibility as to location. When looking for herself, she researches every detail to understand whether a particular home and community are the right choice for her family. Workman treats her clients the same way, trying to understand their goals while offering concierge-level service with a personalized point of view. “I think it is important to focus on what ‘home’ looks like to each person,” she says. “I offer my clients guidance and support to make the decision that is right for their lifestyle.”
