Brian Levitas, Broker

Fulton Grace Realty

A lifetime of experience with his father’s residential and commercial development company prepared Brian Levitas for his career in real estate. Levitas, a top broker with Fulton Grace Realty, focuses on properties in Logan Square, Bucktown and the Near North Side. Having worked in real estate for five years, he specializes in new construction, luxury rentals and first-time homebuying.

“As a young residential broker in the Chicago market, I found a niche to help differentiate myself,” Levitas says. “Being knowledgeable in a few specific areas really helps me add value when servicing clients.”

Because of his development background, new construction always excites Levitas. Getting involved in the early stages of a project has paid dividends, as Levitas knows that clients in this market seek extra guidance. “New-construction homebuyers need direction. When you are a product expert and can tell a client what’s behind the walls and underneath the floors, it helps build trust,” he says.

The trust Levitas earns extends to his work in property management, where tenants of the more than 100 units he manages turn to him when seeking other rentals or homes to buy. Some of Levitas’ recent accomplishments include fully leasing a 33-unit rental building at 1955 N. Richmond St. and selling out a nine-unit new-construction condo development at 3024 W. Armitage Ave., both in Logan Square. Additionally, he has sold numerous new-construction single-family and condo projects and has facilitated successful investments in older multi-unit properties and land parcels for developers.

When not selling real estate, Levitas is passionate about giving back to his community. In 2013, he founded the Brian J. Levitas Lymphoma Foundation, which has raised over $150,000 for cancer research. Levitas is also an active member of the Children’s Research Fund Junior Board, a contingent of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. In January, Levitas published a book, “Cancer Saved My Life,” about his experience beating cancer in hopes of helping those going through tough times.
