Sara O’Connor knows that every transaction is different. That’s why she works tirelessly to make sure every step is as smooth as possible, building lasting relationships with her clients along the way.
As an executive account manager for the Greater Illinois Title Company, O’Connor has become an expert at helping real estate professionals navigate the transaction process. She serves both the Chicagoland market and the nation, focusing on multifamily, commercial, residential and REO transactions.
Though O’Connor has celebrated numerous business accomplishments this past year, the birth of her daughter, Nora, was her proudest moment. The family spent several months in Florida to provide Nora the finest care, and she is now home in Chicago. “She’s a trooper who made all of our sacrifices and fears disappear, as she brings joy to each and every day,” O’Connor says. O’Connor was even able to continue growing her business while in Florida, thanks to the support of her team.
Because she works with a wide variety of clients, O’Connor knows communication is the key to a successful relationship. By simply getting to know her clients and their unique needs, she’s been able to assist them in many facets of their businesses and lives. “If we are on the same page through understanding, we are in great shape for success,” she says.
Throughout her 18 years in the real estate industry, O’Connor has been recognized for her strong commitment to serving her clients. She has been a Million Dollar Club Member with the Greater Illinois Title Company for five years, and the Chicago Association of Realtors named her its Affiliate of the Year in 2018.
Outside of work, O’Connor enjoys volunteering in her community. She currently works as a mentor for Imerman Angels, providing one-on-one support for patients and caregivers affected by cancer.
