Treating customers like family is both a guiding principle and a way of life for award-winning duo Caryn Prall and Pete Economos. They own and operate six Keller Williams Realty locations in the western suburbs. With over 900 agents, they serve Illinois, the Wisconsin-Iowa border, St. Louis and Indiana. Collectively, they have 41 years of experience in the industry and plan to hit $2 billion in closed volume this year.
Their ultimate goal is to build the most agent-centric real estate company in the world. Part of that commitment includes training and mentoring aspiring agents and helping them grow their own businesses. “Our biggest sales accomplishment is watching our agents’ lives get bigger. The average millionaire has seven streams of income, and we want agents to find opportunities and create a business around them to fill in the gap,” Prall says.
The dynamic duo primarily deals in residential real estate, but they are also working toward building a strong commercial division. They also offer property management, business brokerage, farm, ranch, luxury and global services.
Before venturing into real estate, Prall spent 13 years at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants working her way up from host to manager. “I was working for an outstanding restaurant company and loved it; however, I always knew there was more to life,” she says. “I have a large sphere and network, thus helping friends and family build wealth through real estate became my passion.”
Economos also came to real estate from food service. He received a degree from Purdue University in restaurant management and went to work for Houston’s soon after. “Working a salaried job with a ceiling is not what I was built to do, and I had a defining moment at the age of 22 when I was a manager at Bandera on Michigan Avenue,” he says. “I am a second-generation Realtor, and enjoyed watching my father, Mike Economos, make an impact on the real estate industry.”
Both are members of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors, Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, Realtor Association of the Fox Valley and HomeTown Association of Realtors.
