RE/MAX Suburban and Precision Title Company
While they were always interested in real estate, Chad and Sarah Gilbert didn’t turn that interest into a career until 2015, when they purchased RE/MAX Suburban, which serves Chicago and the suburbs with eight locations. Before real estate, they both worked at Fortune 20 companies for 15 years. Chad was a corporate sales executive and Sarah was a corporate leader at one of the nation’s largest drug store chains.
“Chad’s background provides him with a unique skill set to partner with our agents and help them achieve their business and personal goals,” Sarah says of her husband and business partner. “He has been leading RE/MAX Suburban for the last three years and has successfully grown the company to over $1.2 billion in annual production.”
With experience in commercial real estate, process improvement and operational excellence, Sarah recently left her corporate role to join Chad at the helm of RE/MAX Suburban. “Her passion for teaching and mentoring, as well as her certifications in process excellence and coaching will add additional depth to the organization as we continue to build out agent development and growth programs,” Chad says. To continue on the path of becoming a full-service brokerage, the couple just acquired Precision Title Company, which has nine locations across the Chicagoland area.
“We support our agents as individuals in real estate as well as business owners,” they say, noting they were drawn to the RE/MAX model because it supports entrepreneurs. “The individual consulting and accountability that the RE/MAX model provides creates an amazing environment for the best in the business. RE/MAX Suburban agents truly own their own business but have the full support of our entire staff as well as the brand every step of the way.”
Chad and Sarah recently received the prestigious 2017 Broker Owner of the Year award from RE/MAX, a true honor they share with all of their team members who support their agents daily, helping them win more listings and close more deals. “We love seeing our agents be successful, and we love to see the way they support the communities we serve,” they say.
The company also exceeded its community support goals in 2017 by donating more than $53,000 to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and initiating a new annual golf outing. From superheroes to hockey games, Chad and Sarah’s two young boys keep them busy after hours with fun activities that create lifelong family memories.
