Vol. 5, Iss. 9, Office News: Daley Receives Gale Cincotta Neighborhood Partnership Award

More than 700 neighborhood leaders and partners of Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) of Chicago celebrated its 32nd anniversary at a an awards dinner at Hyatt Regency Chicago’s grand ballroom.

The dinner, which raised over $400,000 in support of NHS programs, recognized outstanding partners and community leaders making an impact in their communities. JPMorgan Chase executive William M. Daley was honored with the Gale Cincotta Neighborhood Partnership Award for his and Chase’s outstanding contributions to community development and affordable housing. He received his award from Edward Rust, president and CEO of State Farm Insurance Companies.

The Gale Cincotta award recognizes work in developing community partnerships that support healthy neighborhoods.

In addition, NHS honored nine community leaders with Neighborhood Leadership Awards for giving their time, talent, and resources to make a difference in their communities.
