Veteran Agent Jeanine McShea Moves to Koenig & Strey

by Chicago Agent

Chicago-based real estate brokerage firm @properties announced that President of Brokerage Services Jeanine McShea resigned in order to pursue other opportunities. On the same day, Nancy Nagy, president and CEO Koenig & Strey Real Living, a leading Chicago area real estate brokerage, announced that McShea has joined the company in a newly created executive vice president role and as branch manager of their high profile Gold Coast office. The transition marks a new stone paved in McShea’s successful 25 plus years’ career path in the real estate industry. McShea was one of the top-producing agents in Chicago prior to taking on management and leadership positions at several Chicago brokerages and has earned both the GRI and NAR Green Designations. She is currently an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, a Certified Negotation Expert and serves on the Chicago Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee.

Co-founders of @properties Michael Golden and Thaddeus Wong were sad to see McShea go and plan to fill her position in the near future. “Jeanine played a key role in the evolution of @properties over the past eight years. She set the bar for professionalism and built many great relationships. At the same time, we’re confident that our organization will respond positively to this situation and take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves as a result of Jeanine’s departure,” said Wong.

McShea received a warm welcome by the staff at Koenig & Strey. Nagy made the announcement to a cheering group of agents at the Gold Coast office, “I have known Jeanine for many years and have a great deal of respect for what she has accomplished. There is no one better suited to lead our key Gold Coast office, and to make an impact on our company than Jeanine.”

McShea talked about the decision to make a change in her career. “As I looked at the real estate landscape, I knew that I wanted to be in a leadership role with an esteemed company. I have always admired the agents of Koenig & Strey, and the way that the company does business. With Nancy Nagy as President and CEO, I see an exciting and dynamic future with unlimited possibilities.”
