Stephanie LoVerde
Tech Savvy Realtor
Baird & Warner
Stephanie LoVerde had planned for a career in counseling and was pursuing studies in that field when real estate crossed her path and changed her direction. Now that more than two years have elapsed since she made the shift, LoVerde is well on her way to becoming a force in the industry. She has already earned accolades, such as top 2 percent of all Baird & Warner agents in 2014, the Chicago Association of Realtors’ Rookie of the Year award in 2013 and placement on that organization’s list of top producers the same year. “Real estate isn’t my job – it’s my lifestyle,” she says.
Actually, LoVerde was already close to the field even before entering it. She trained and supported Baird & Warner Realtors for three years before becoming an agent. “My experience on the corporate side of real estate affords me the kind of insight and understanding of the process that really benefits my clients,” she says. “I explain the steps and milestones instead of just going through the motions.” Her client roster is quite diverse and includes first-time buyers, experienced sellers and repeat investors. “I love to serve them all!” she passionately says, and her approach is to provide each one 100 percent of her attention and an equal amount of trustworthy advice. She prides herself on delivering prompt and authentic communication, and her clients quickly realize she has their best interests at heart.
Not one to walk away from a challenge, LoVerde lives by the credo, “If there’s a will, there’s a way.” She says she creates opportunity even in those instances in which none seemingly exist. “My responsibility is to craft creative solutions for each client’s unique challenges that still allows the individual to feel comfortable with the direction,” she offers. LoVerde goes on to say that hers is a highly structured approach that leverages technology as much as possible. Her tenacity frequently means work before pleasure, but she has set out to make no little plans.
Client satisfaction trumps every possible award LoVerde could ever receive. She saves and revisits thank you notes from her clients as a continuous source of motivation and inspiration. “I entered this profession because I wanted to genuinely help people,”she explains. “In my opinion, real estate isn’t about buying and selling – it’s about life and people.”
