Thaddeus Wong, co-founder of Chicago real estate firm @properties, was recently awarded with Loyola University Chicago’s Damen Award.
The award, given to alumni for their professional achievements, and service and leadership in the community, is named after Loyola University Chicago’s founder, Arnold Damen, S.J. The university selects one recipient annually from each of its schools and colleges.
Wong, an alumni of Loyola University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, graduated in 1996. In addition to his recent recognition by his alma mater, he was also inducted in the Chicago Area of Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, was recognized in Inc. 500’s list of fastest-growing private companies in America and is also nominated with his business partner, Michael Golden, for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2012.
In addition to his role of overseeing @properties’ operations, Wong serves on the board of the Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship, is a member of the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation and is co-chair of the annual Beelzebub Halloween Bash and Fundraiser.
