Morton Grove native and real estate broker Martyna Tos of Northwest Real Estate Group may be young and energetic, but she’s also a Chicagoland expert who knows the city’s northwest suburbs like the back of her hand and has worked in the area her entire adult career. Armed with a business degree, drive, and a versatile book of experience across first-time and luxury buyers and sellers, Tos is a rising star on the Chicago real estate stage.
“I love helping people and I get so much satisfaction out of seeing people happy in their homebuying or selling decisions,” she says. “I have a huge attention to detail and I always work very hard to make sure everything works out without any issues.” And Tos goes above and beyond in that regard. In 2020, she helped one young couple sell their townhouse after one day on the market and then found them their dream home during a historically wild, low-inventory market – and then, helped the soon-to-be groom pull off a surprise engagement at the new dream home right after closing! “That was such a fun client that I’ll never forget,” she says.
Tos was featured in 2018 in Chicago Agent’s My Style, back when she was still quite new to real estate. Now, having traversed the unpredictable landscape of low rates, low inventory, and a pandemic, Tos is still relying on proven practices she’s learned from other brokers, managing each deal like it was her own home, negotiating with integrity and intention, and listening carefully to each client’s needs and wants.
“I’m four years into my career, and 95 percent of my clients are referrals from past clients or friends,” she says. “I love building relationships and that statistic alone helps me feel like I’m on the right path. Clients trusting me to help them with this huge decision is the greatest honor.”
