Kim Brychel, Broker Associate

@properties

Raised on the South Side of Chicago and living and working on the North Side for over 15 years now, Kim Brychel, a broker associate with @properties, is what you call a local’s local.

“I think one of the greatest aspects about Chicago is the myriad neighborhoods this city offers, each with its own individual personality,” Brychel says of her hometown. Nine years ago, Brychel made her move, leaving behind the world of advertising and getting licensed to finally pursue her real passion — real estate. “Best decision ever,” she says.

“My background in account management really has helped me serve clients well,” she says of her earlier career journey. Marketing properties to the right demographics of buyers, understanding client needs and budget, while juggling the myriad of facets of a successful sale, all make her a better agent. Especially for her first-time home buyers, Brychel says, her detailed process and realistic expectation setting help them know what to expect. “My goal is to find the right home for them, not to just make a sale,” she says.

Friendly, outgoing and straightforward, Brychel has managed to build clients into longer-term friends, while helping them navigate the market and explore a city she adores. And as her list of happy clients grows, so too does her business. “As of May of 2021, this has been the strongest sales year I’ve had yet, and I’m grateful that clients continue to use me and refer others to me.” A member of the National Association of Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors, Brychel loves working with other professionals across the transaction process and ultimately making the experience as stress-free as possible for her clients.

“I’ve won more multiple-offer situations than I’ve lost,” she says proudly. And with that, along with the strong problem-solving skills she’s built, her clients get to the closing table and into their dream homes.
