Compass has opened its first physical office on Chicago’s South Side with the affiliation of Town Realty Chicago, which will now be known as Town Group. 

Located at 10938 S. Western Ave., the office will continue to be the headquarters of the existing seven-agent team, which was founded by Meg Mulrenin and Matt McGinnis. 

The brokerage serves Beverly and Morgan Park and closed roughly $30 million in sales in 2024. 

“We know every block and many of the homes because this is where we grew up and where we still live,” said Mulrenin, who leads the team. “Real estate is deeply personal for us. Joining Compass allows us to pair our local knowledge with industry-leading tools, all in service of our clients and community.” 

Since 2011, Mulrenin has grown Town Group into the largest independent brokerage in Beverly and Morgan Park.
