Cullinan Properties and PREMIER Design + Build Group have started work on The View at Rock Run Collection, a 573-apartment community within the 310-acre mixed-use Rock Run Collection development in Joliet.
The View is the largest multifamily project in the Chicagoland area, spanning 14 three-story, garden-style apartment buildings on 30 acres, backers said. Phase I comprises three buildings with 264 units, a free-standing clubhouse, three parking garages, retention ponds and additional infrastructure work.
When fully built out, the community’s amenities will include a pool, entertainment area, volleyball court, yoga platform, bocce ball court, cabana building and gym.

Rock Run Collection is located at the intersections of I-80 and I-55 in Joliet. Besides the residential component, the super-regional development will feature 500,000 square feet of shopping and dining space, 200,000 square feet of entertainment space, 150,000 square feet of offices, over 500 hotel rooms, the Hollywood Casino Joliet with event and conference center and an outdoor area with programmed activities.
