Oralia Herrera installed as NAHREP president

Oralia Herrera, broker/owner of CENTURY 21 TK Realty Inc. in Addison, has been installed as the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) president. Her induction took place recently at NAHREP’s annual Homeownership and Wealth Building Conference in Washington, D.C.

A 35-year industry veteran, Herrera began her NAHREP journey within the Chicago chapter, serving on its board for two years. She then founded NAHREP Chicago North, now called NAHREP DuPage, before ascending to the NAHREP National Board of. As the 2025 president, Herrera aims to advocate for Hispanic homeownership and amplify the voice of Hispanic real estate professionals nationwide.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to take on this new leadership role with NAHREP,” said Herrera said. “Having been part of this incredible organization for many years, I am excited to continue working alongside our members to advance opportunities for Hispanic professionals in the real estate industry. Together with industry leading brands like CENTURY 21, we will continue to break barriers and create a lasting impact in communities across the country.”

Herrera replaces Past President Nora Aguirre. The 2026 president-elect is Edwin Acevedo. All three are all affiliated with CENTURY 21, signifying a continued connection between NAHREP and the franchise.

“As NAHREP celebrates 25 years of leading the charge with the Hispanic community, the CENTURY 21 brand shares in its mission of advancing opportunities for Hispanics within the real estate market,” said Century 21 Real Estate LLC President and CEO Mike Miedler said. “Especially in today’s climate, it is so important to have organizations and brands out there advocating for access and resources that enable all communities to achieve that dream of homeownership. We are thrilled to celebrate leaders like Oralia, Nora, Edwin and so many others.”
