Kale Realty has added Ri Prasad as a broker. In addition to her real estate development, investing and marketing experience, Prasad is a fair housing advocate, leading The 77: first as the 2024 vice-chair and, now, as the incoming 2025 chair.

The 77 is a diversity committee through the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) which connects directly to each of Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods. Through it, Prasad aims to promote economic development, as well as fair housing, throughout the city. She’s also part of CAR’s Sustainability Workgroup, focusing on green construction and building efficiency.

Outside of CAR, Prasad serves on the board of organizations like Chicago Tool Library, Co-op Ed Center, REJUVaNATION Equity Development Cooperative, PAWS Chicago and CPR Rescue. “As a bi-national, bi-cultural advocate for climate and animal rights, she continues to leave a lasting impact on both her local and national communities,” states a press release from Kale.
