The KlopasStratton Team joins Jameson SIR

by Emily Mack

The KlopasStratton Team has joined Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty (Jameson SIR). The team is led by sister-and-brother duo Sophia Klopas and Jason Stratton and was affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago (BHHS Chicago) for 19 years.

Additional team members include Beth Gomez, Lisa Huber, Jessica Nichols, Chris Johnson, Erika Anguiano and Erica Doan.

The KlopasStratton Team ranked as the No. 6 medium-sized team in Illinois by RealTrends in 2023. Over the last 12 months, it has closed over $100 million in volume. The team has closed over $1.2 billion in total volume since launching in 2002.

“It is an absolute honor to welcome Sophia Klopas and Jason Stratton to Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty,” said Jim Miller, executive vice president and designated managing broker of Jameson SIR’s Chicago City Hub. “While the KlopasStratton team needs no introduction, we are certain that their distinguished reputation and monumental success will continue to soar to unprecedented heights by leaning into our brand, internal resources, and global network.”

“With all the big changes in real estate the time was right for a big change for the team. BHHS has been a wonderful partner over the last 19 years, and we thank them,” Klopas said in a press release, reflecting on the transition. “It wasn’t an easy decision for us, but Jameson was the only natural fit,” she added, highlighting the brokerage’s marketing and “boutique feel.”
