The Chicago-based leasing company Luxury Living has a new CEO: Co-Founder Amy Galvin, formerly the company’s chief culture officer. She replaces her fellow co-founder Aaron Galvin, who will now concentrate on developing the business as the company shifts focus back to downtown Chicago and, eventually, on multifamily ownership.
In her first year as CEO, Galvin aims to re-establish the executive leadership team, refining Luxury Living’s offerings and processes during the period of transition.
“Taking the helm, my unwavering focus lies in enhancing operational efficiency, securing and retaining top-tier talent, and forging strategic partnerships,” Amy Galvin said in a press release. “Our mission is crystal clear — to deliver an unparalleled, best-in-class experience to our clients: renters, real estate developers and capital partners.”
Last year, Luxury Living announced its first joint venture development, The Saint Grand, a 21-story, mixed-use property. With pre-leasing for The Saint Grand apartments set to begin in early 2024, the company plans to embark on more multifamily ownership and development projects in the future.
“The Saint Grand is our first foray into multifamily development and confirmed our thesis that development will be a meaningful part of Luxury Living’s continued growth,” Aaron Galvin said. “Stepping forward into a new and exciting role allows me to focus on finding more acquisition and development opportunities in tandem with providing consulting and best-in-class leasing services for Chicago multifamily developers and investors.”
