Kandyce St. Clair hired as VP of external affairs at CAR

Kandyce St. Clair has officially filled the position of vice president of external affairs at the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) — a role that’s been vacant since October.

As vice president of external affairs, St. Clair will oversee the external affairs department, which includes the CAR Foundation, The 77 Diversity Committee, the Global Real Estate Council and other community partnerships.

Prior to this work, St. Clair spent years in education, most recently as the program director and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion coordinator for Near North Montessori. While there, she enhanced the school’s programs while helping to develop new equitable policies the institution and functioning as a liaison for educational community groups. St. Clair is also the chair of the Chicago Black Alumni Council for Washington University.

“I am thrilled to bring my passion for relationship building to the Chicago Association of REALTORS® in order to best serve our members,” St. Clair said in a press release. “I’m looking forward to cultivating intentional and meaningful industry partnerships throughout Chicagoland, while also creating a greater awareness of the CAR Education Foundation.”

“We are delighted to welcome Kandyce to our team,” CAR CEO Michelle Mills Clement added. “We know that Kandyce will help us ensure communities across Chicagoland are vibrant and thriving.”
