Tony Mattar has formed a new team with Compass: Chicago Crib. In addition to Mattar, Chicago Crib includes Idallys Corral, Jordan Pringle and Kelly Rountree, who served on Mattar’s previous team, plus Jatzirit Hernandez, Nicole Jaskula and Skye Coyne. They will be based out of Compass’ River North office.
Mattar began his career as a broker eight years ago, eventually co-founding HomeCo Chicago in 2019. He and Haley Levine Wills led that team as an independent brokerage for three years before joining Compass in January of 2022.
“Joining Compass as a former brokerage owner, Tony has used his passion for real estate and agent mentoring to launch his new team Chicago Crib,” Compass Sales Manager Andy Shiparski said in a press release. “Tony and team consistently create customized white-glove experiences for their clients and exemplify a collaborative spirit throughout the office. We at Compass are thrilled Tony has continued to work with us, and we welcome the Chicago Crib team to our family.”
Commenting on the experience of forming his team, Mattar said, “I love that I get to coach and mentor the next generation of Gen Z and millennial Chicago brokers on a daily basis. Seeing the women on our team reach new professional and personal heights fuels me.” In addition to employing younger agents, Mattar expressed that his team promotes, in particular, opportunities for women and minorities.
“I’m glad to have retained both of the talented, young brokers that were working with me previously … All told, I now have six wonderful women supporting our teams,” Mattar said.
