Baird & Warner appoints Bob Kohler and Negeen Masghati as VP sales managers

by Emily Mack

Baird & Warner has appointed two new vice president, sales managers: Bob Kohler and Negeen Masghati. Kohler, a new hire, will serve the firm’s Winnetka office. Masghati, who was promoted internally, is serving the South Loop office. Their roles will center around developing their respective brokerage teams, as sales manager is a non-selling position at Baird & Warner.

Prior to joining Baird & Warner, Kohler was a broker at Compass. He also spent 17 years at Coldwell Banker where he worked with both residential and commercial properties. Laura Ellis, Baird & Warner’s president of residential sales and executive vice president, commented on that experience in a press release. “In a rapidly changing market where multiple offers continue to dominate, Bob’s insight will add value to every transaction, making the process easier for buyers and sellers,” she said.

Kohler also expressed his own excitement. “After being with national real estate companies for my entire career, I chose Baird & Warner because it’s big, yet independent, and more receptive to suggestions and new ideas,” he said.

Masghati, meanwhile, has been at Baird & Warner since beginning her real estate career in 2014. As as assistant manager for the firm’s Lincoln Park office, she specialized in providing agent support. Now, at South Loop, she is hoping to expand the team.

“As a family-run brokerage, Baird & Warner provided exactly what I had been looking for when entering the real estate business – a culture that evoked a feeling of coming home to a family,” Masghati said in the press release. “I’m looking forward to expanding the Baird & Warner South Loop office and our family of agents.”
