MoveEasy expands, broadening services with new dashboard for homeowners

Real estate agents lead their clients through one of life’s toughest transitions — the dreaded move — but after the paperwork is signed, that relationship can fade. Fast. With an average of five to seven years between real estate transactions, remaining in touch with your agent is not usually a new homeowner’s priority. But with the recent launch of its homeowner dashboard, the online platform MoveEasy is working to expand that connection.

Acting as a booster to the typical CRM process, MoveEasy began connecting with brokerages directly in 2017. Integrated with various firm technology, the service offers digital moving assistance to new homeowners, including estimates, referrals and reminders. And when users navigate those resources, they are also reminded of their agent — with headshots and brokerage branding featured prominently on the page.

But now, MoveEasy’s new dashboard is designed to keep agents top-of-mind long after the move-in is complete. With the addition of a savings calculator and a tab for document storing, users can more carefully keep track of the maintenance of their home. They can also contact MoveEasy’s personalized concierge service, Forever Concierge, for help when it comes to everyday tasks like researching deals, choosing a handyman — or even waiting on hold with the cable company.

“When we first launched MoveEasy, we focused on building a leading concierge service,” MoveEasy CEO Venkatesh Ganapathy said. “Now fast forward to today and MoveEasy has become a truly 360° home management platform.” And with those additions, the function of the platform remains two-fold. “For the first time ever, agents have a fully integrated platform to stay in touch with clients old and new at any point throughout their lifetime as a homeowner,” Ganapathy noted in a press release. The design aims to increase repeat business and client referrals. “Our post-move dashboard provides real estate agents with a powerful tool to … broaden the value they deliver clients,” he said.

Already utilized by more than 100,000 real estate agents, MoveEasy is currently available to more than a million homeowners. And that network is growing. In addition to its established relationships with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Century 21 and Realty ONE Group, the platform has announced two recent partnerships here in the Midwest: with RE/MAX, Howard Hannah and the Schmidt Family of Companies. Last month, Move Easy announced $3.5 million in new funding from multiple investors, including New Valley Ventures, Breaktrail Ventures, Loud Capital and Pete Kight.

As it expands, MoveEasy can further integrate itself into the ongoing journey of homeownership. With existing services enhanced on the new dashboard, the company envisions stronger engagement and bolstered loyalty — all the while, helping to generate repeat business for agents. “To truly differentiate and stand out, real estate agents need to deliver value to clients across their entire homeownership journey, long after they have left the closing table,” Ganapathy said. “This requires anticipating clients’ needs across every phase of homeownership to make their lives easier and save them money.”
