BHHS Chicago among nation’s top 10 BHHS brokerages

by Emily Mack

The Berkshire Elite Circle consists of the top 10 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brokerages in the nation — and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago was named among the bunch.

The local brokerage received the honor at a recent BHHS sales convention in Louisville, Kentucky, where CEO Diane Glass accepted the award on the firm’s behalf.

“I am so honored and proud that Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago is ranked among the top 10 in the national network,” Glass said in a press release. “This award belongs to our agents and is a testament to their hard work and dedication to their clients and to our industry. I’m also proud to have so many of our agents receive national recognition. These talented professionals and exceptional individuals make our company the amazing work home that it is.”

In addition to the overall recognition for BHHS Chicago, specific offices, teams and agents were also singled out for their achievements. The Michigan Avenue and Lincoln Park Clybourn offices were ranked among the top 10 offices, nationally, for gross commission income (GCI) and residential unit sales while the MG Group and the Pattie Murray Team received the same honors, for large and medium-sized teams, respectively. The Klopas Stratton Team and agent Michael Rosenblum of the Michigan Avenue office were also recognized for their GCI with Rosenblum ranking No. 1 in the Midwest.

Additionally, nine individual brokers received BHHS Legend awards which mark either five or 10 consecutive years of high sales. Six agents won the 5 Year Legend award: Maureen O’Grady-Tuohy of the Lake Forest office, Keith Goad of the Michigan Avenue office, Katie Claypool of the Wheaton office, Jim Streff of the Bucktown office and Akos Ethan Straub and Karen Ranquist, both of the Lincoln Park Clybourn office. Three agents received the 10 Year Legend award: Diana and Chuck Ivas of the Hinsdale office and Elaine Pagels of the Downers Grove office.

In total, more than 392 BHHS Chicago professionals were recognized, in some form, at the national ceremony.
