The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s historic Myron T. MacLaren House, valued at $1.93 million, was recently made available to potential buyers in a request for proposals, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. So a buyer could purchase the 14-bedroom Tudor Revival-style mansion — it now serves as an alumni house and as home to the school’s meteorology program — and restore it as a residence. Clients not ready to buy? UWM officials say they’re willing to lease it, too.
School’s out forever
