New manager for Coldwell Banker, Wintrust’s leadership shakeup and more

Coldwell Banker welcomes Gianna Ricci as new district manager

This week Coldwell Residential Brokerage announced Gianna Ricci would be its new district manager of the company’s western branches.

The former top producer will be in charge of managing offices in Oak Brook, La Grange, Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale and Downers Grove, which means she’ll serve more than 300 agents.

Previously one of Coldwell Banker’s assistant sales managers, Ricci will be returning home to the company after spending the last few years as a broker at @properties in Elmhurst.

“The addition of Gianna to our leadership team helps to affirm our company’s commitment to providing the very best resources and support for our agents,” Ayoub Rabah, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, said in a press release. “I know that Gianna will be a great asset to our company, and I am thrilled to welcome her back home to Coldwell Banker.”

Wintrust announces new leadership

The Wintrust board of directors made a slew of personnel changes this week. According to The Daily Herald, Edward Wehmer will be the bank’s founder and CEO. Previously, Wehmer was president and CEO, but as of Feb. 2, Timothy Crane will take the role of president. 

Additionally, David Dykstra was promoted to vice chairman and chief operating officer, and Richard Murphy will become the vice chairman of lending.

“In connection with Dave, Rich and Tim’s new roles, we also are making a number of other internal promotions, challenging a diverse group of current and emerging leaders to take on new and broader roles within Wintrust,” said Wehmer. “In short, we are developing tomorrow’s leaders today, so that they will help perpetuate the culture that has been integral to our success thus far.”

Doug Carpenter announced as Illinois Realtor of the Year  

Last week, Illinois Realtors announced Doug Carpenter will be recognized as the group’s 2020 Realtor of the year award during the association’s public policy meetings.

Carpenter has been in the real estate industry for more than 30 years and has been an active member of the Illinois Realtors’ Board of Directors throughout his career. He is currently the managing broker of Coldwell Real Estate Group in Mokena.

Proper Title, LLC expands throughout Chicagoland area

Yesterday, the commercial and residential insurance firm Proper Title, LLC announced its new office in Park Ridge. Their 3,500 square feet office accommodates five closing rooms for both residential and commercial closings.

“This past year has been an exciting time for Proper Title with the expansion of our Loop office, the addition of our St. Charles office,” David Garside, executive vice president of title and escrow operations for Proper Title, said in a press release. “The incredible increase in transaction volume that we’ve experienced is a direct result of our valued customer relationships.”
