Paint the town, if you want

by Chicago Agent

Why worry about a neighborhood’s charm while house-hunting when you can just buy the entire town? The (very) small town of Story, Indiana, is for sale for $3.8 million, which includes 17 acres and historic pioneer-age buildings. The town of Story originated in 1851 with a land grant to Dr. George P. Story. It became home to his medical practice as well as a general store, grain mill and more. Today many of Story’s old buildings have been repurposed to attract tourists from all over the country.
