Vista Tower is preparing to be the first luxury development in Chicago to offer a car-sharing program, with Tesla available exclusively to its residents.

Those who wish to use the service will have access to a Tesla which will be located in the tower’s parking garage. Residents will be able to arrange rides through an app. 

Located on Upper Wacker Drive at the intersection of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River, Vista Tower achieved a major milestone in mid-June when concrete was poured to form the 50th floor. It is expected to be the third-tallest building in Chicago upon its scheduled 2020 completion.

“Vista Tower’s location provides residents with direct access to the city’s premier attractions from the lakefront to top restaurants, entertainment and beyond – all within walking distance,” says Leila Zammatta, senior vice president of sales, Magellan Development Group. “The car share program provides an alternative for residents to travel beyond the local community, without the commitment of leasing or owning a personal vehicle.”
