Pam Krieter, the interim CEO of Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, has been in the real estate business for more than 30 years, most often serving as an association executive for various Realtor organizations in the Chicagoland area. “I am extremely proud of what Mainstreet and its leadership have accomplished over many years as we have developed a strong culture of customer service and support for our members,” Krieter says.
Krieter retired in December 2016 but returned to her post earlier this year when previous CEO Margery Shinners died unexpectedly, and she accepts this award in her memory.
One of Krieter’s most unforgettable experiences as a CEO was for her organization was named in the top 10 “Best Places to Work in Illinois” in the small company category by the Daily Herald Business Ledger. She credits all of her accomplishments to working with a staff that is considered one of the best in the business. “It has been a true blessing, and much of Mainstreet’s successes belong to them,” she says.
“Having been in this industry for many years, I am aware of the number of amazing individuals who make up the complexity of our industry and am truly thankful to be recognized amongst them as the Association VIP,” she says. “Thank you for choosing me for this distinguished award, and thank you to Chicago Agent for their commitment to real estate professionals.”
