Queens New York Home’s Major Bee Problem

After two hours of removal, a New York City woman’s home is free of the rather large bee problem under her bedroom floor. Mary Jean Dyczko, a Queens resident, had 40,000 bees living under her bedroom floor near an overhanging roof. Dyczko called on a retired NYPD bee detective, Anthony “Tony Bees” Planakis, to help take care of the insects that had taken over her home starting last summer. To learn more about this story.
