Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices KoenigRubloff Realty Group will hold a company-wide Week of Kindness event from June 8 through 12. This event will be held in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports local philanthropic initiatives.
All 23 of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group offices have organized their own events to volunteer time and service to an organization in their own communities. Nancy Nagy, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Homerservices KoenigRubloff Realty Group, commented on the company’s philanthropic involvement in its communities.
“The Week of Kindness is one of my favorite weeks of the entire year,” said Nancy Nagy. “This special week gives us the opportunity to interact with our communities and have a lot of fun while helping those in need.”
This year’s Week of Kindness events include collecting food donations for the Greater Chicago Food Depository, community paper shredding and recycling events, charity bowling, and cooking at the Ronald McDonald House. Joe Stacy, Chairman of the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation said the company is excited to have a positive involvement in the community.
“This is a chance to take a look at each community and see where their needs lie,” said Joe Stacy. “Anyone can find great success in their everyday job, but the most empowering and courageous feeling of all is having compassion for those that are less fortunate and doing something about it.”
