The condominium market is ramping up in Chicagoland amid improving market conditions. But a glaring lack of inventory continues to frustrate suburban buyers who have found their options to be very limited.
One area where condominium inventory is particularly tight is the northern suburbs. In Vernon Hills and surrounding suburbs, the average Months’ Supply of Inventory for condominiums and townhomes fell below 3 months in January – down 29 percent from the year prior.
