Carolyn McLaughlin, who was a top-producing agent at KoenigRubloff
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group is mourning the loss of Carolyn McLaughlin, one of the company’s top-producing agents. McLaughlin was partnered with Kelly McInerney for 14 years at the company’s Lake Forest office. The duo, McLaughlin & McInerney, consistently won awards for high sales volume.
Mark Pasquesi, manager of the Lake Forest office stated, “Carolyn was a true professional in every aspect of the business.”
McLaughlin, said Michael Pierson, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group, will not only be missed at her office, but also throughout the entire company.
“KoenigRubloff will indeed miss Carolyn’s cheerful and positive ‘can do’ energy in the office,” he said. “The McLaughlin & McInerney team is among the best and Kelly is amazing. I am so glad the partnership name of McLaughlin & McInerney will continue and Kelly will carry on their reputation for excellent service to our clients,”
Carolyn turned over the reins to Kelly in recent years, and was proud of how she continued the same work ethic, integrity and commitment that made Carolyn a top agent. Kelly and Carolyn had a special bond, not only as business partners, but also as friends.
McInerney said, “She was everything to me: a friend, a mentor, a partner, a mother, a sister. I will carry on my very best, as always, the way she would have wanted me to. I am grateful for the tremendous opportunity I had to be part of her life. Everything Carolyn taught me, and her great spirit, will always be with me.”
George McLaughlin, Carolyn’s husband, recalls how happy the partnership with Kelly made her. He said, “She taught by example, and was pleased to find in a partner, someone who appreciated the same strong work ethic and commitment to her clients. She found that in Kelly. Today, you don’t always find someone who goes above and beyond expectations, but Carolyn always did in all aspects. It makes me happy and proud that Kelly will carry on that tradition and name in honor of Carolyn.”
