It finally happened – housing inventory increased in Chicagoland!
It’s been a epic tale – housing inventory in Chicagoland – one of twists, turns, betrayals, and now, redemption.
Indeed, though it may be hard to believe, the Chicagoland area posted a year-over-year increase in housing inventory in April; according to the latest analysis by Movoto, inventory was up more than 12 percent for the month. Though we had predicted a bottoming to Chicagoland’s inventory a month ago, such a robust increase is still a pleasant surprise, though admittedly, we’ll have to give it a couple months to see if such an increase is a momentary blip or part of a longer trend.
