Residential construction in Chicago continued its forward momentum in November, rising 13 percent to a very encouraging $337 million, according to the latest analysis from McGraw Hill Construction.

And we recently reported, Chicago is not alone – residential construction in the U.S. has been doing quite well in recent months. How well? Try this: in November, construction spending vaulted to its highest mark in more than four years, and was up almost 25 percent year-over-year.
