Terry Wilkowski

To keep up with increasing demand in the North Shore region, Chicago real estate firm @properties has hired Terry Wilkowsi as vice president of brokerage services, North Shore.

Wilkowski, former senior vice president and regional manager for the west suburban region of Koenig & Strey Real Living, has over 20 years of experience in suburban Chicago real estate. His duties at @properties will include recruiting, transaction management and agent training and development.

Two years after entering the market, @properties now has the No. 3 market share on the North Shore, according to BrokerMetrics, and its sales volume has almost doubled in the past year. @properties vice presidents Peter Moulton and Amy Corr will co-manage the North Shore region along with Wilkowski.

“We see opportunities for continued growth on the North Shore,” @properties Co-founder Thaddeus Wong said in a press release. “We believe the best way to capitalize on those opportunities is to attract and develop the best agents through superior management, marketing and support.”

Wilkowski, 44, has managed Koenig & Strey’s Libertyville office and has been managing broker of Coldwell Banker’s Venon Hills office. A past president of the Lake County Association of Realtors, he was named the Association’s Realtor of the Year in 2002.

Wilkowski lives in Vernon Hills, Ill., with his three children.
