After compiling, writing and editing countless biographies for this year’s Who’s Who issue, I noticed something that everyone had in common, according to our interviews with them. Yes, everyone who is featured in this issue is hard-working and at the top of their professions in terms of industry knowledge and strategy, team-building and commitment to customer service and excellence. Yes, everyone looked amazing, posing in our fabulous photo shoot locales and exuding such airs of confidence and power in front of our camera lens.
But a common thread among our Who’s Who list this year is everyone mentioned that, among all the reasons they love their careers in the industry, they all value the ability to help homeowners achieve their dreams.
In today’s market, part of a job well done is achieving just that: helping hopeful homeowners live out their own “American dream.” Whether it’s helping potential homeowners qualify for a mortgage, catering to their tastes and decorating their condo or home so the interior reflects their personality and style, or constantly staying abreast of technology and the market to better serve clients, everything that all 65 people told us lead back to helping others have what they want. The people in our Who’s Who feature are all demonstrating exceptional ability in making this happen. We applaud and admire them for being great examples and setting the bar high for the industry.
In addition, I have to give a heartfelt thanks to Millie Rosenbloom. Not only is she a lovely, genuine person featured among our Who’s Who, but she also facilitated two of our photo shoot locations for us at two of her amazing listings. Both 2030 N. Magnolia and 838 W. Webster provided exquisite backdrops for photos. We would like to thank Hotel Arista in Naperville, the Intercontinental O’Hare hotel in Rosemont, and Aqua in Chicago for allowing us to take photos in their beautiful spaces, as well.
