According to ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com (CRED), The South Loop’s Lexington Park Condominiums have gone rental.

The 333-unit development at 2138 S. Indiana Ave. was completed in the fall of 2009, according to CRED. After struggling with the depressed South Loop condo market, Irish developer Chieftan Group Ltd. passed ownership to current owner ST Residential LLC (STR).

CRED says that STR plans to list units for rent within the next three months, with move-in dates expected for the end of the summer.

An STR spokesperson told CRED they will be building a new sales center and renovating some of the building’s common areas.
