Eight more licensed agents have joined OwnACondo.com in January and early February in anticipation of the firm’s move to 540 N. Lake Shore Drive, where new state-of-the-art headquarters are currently under construction.
Edward Terry joins OwnACondo.com from Keller Williams. The Gold Coast resident describes himself as “very neighborhood-driven. Just my market knowledge alone is very valuable to my clients,” he says, adding that he is particularly knowledgeable about all the condo developments and high-rises between the South Loop and the Near North Side. “In order to best help my clients, it is very important to know the inventory,” he explains.
Edward studied business at DePaul University, and was a session musician and songwriter until 2007 when he discovered his passion for real estate.
“I was intrigued by the process,” he says, explaining that he became interested in real estate when he bought his own home, and decided to make the career move.
Anthony McCallahan has been involved in the real estate business for more than 10 years, including the past five as a Realtor. The Michigan native earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, and holds life, accident and health insurance licenses also.
Anthony lives in the Loop and previously worked for a RE/MAX office in Chicagoland as well as a real estate firm in Michigan. He says “I’ve had a passion for real estate and finance for as long as I can remember. My mother has been a broker for over 20 years, so I guess you could say it is in my blood. I know the financing and lending side of real estate too, so I look forward to sharing my knowledge with my clients and helping them get the best deal on whatever property they choose.”
When not busy with his real estate career, Anthony volunteers with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and other charities.
Jesse Martinez has more than 15 years of real estate experience, getting his start as an investor at age 21, when he bought his first multi-unit investment property in 1994. Today, he specializes in properties valued at $500,000 and above. He worked for Exit Elite Realty in Naperville and has owned his own firms since the late 1990s, including a title company, a mortgage company and his own realty firm in which he purchased, rehabbed and sold properties.
A family man, Jesse volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and proudly serves as “big brother” to an 11-year old boy. He, his wife and two children reside in Naperville.
Justin Vangelista earned his real estate broker’s license in 2002 with the original intent to help family and friends with their real estate needs. He quickly learned how much he enjoys serving a much wider range of people.
“One of the biggest things in a person’s lifetime is finding a place to call home, and being able to help them do that means a lot to me,” says Justin. “Some of my clients have seen 30-40 properties before finding the place they liked,” he says. “I always negotiate well for people and I don’t believe anyone would say I didn’t get the best price for them.”
Justin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from Northern Illinois University and he has a professional certificate in GIS (Geographic Information Services). He lives in Hanover Park and covers virtually all of Chicago and the suburbs for his real estate clients.

She earned a degree in business administration from Harold Washington College in Chicago, and has certification in information technology and digital media from the Computer Systems Institute.
Like so many others on the OwnACondo.com team, Loretta gives back to society. She is involved with Jobs for Youth and the Urban Prep Academy.

Affable, dedicated and possessing a real drive to please, Sotir enjoys all the customer-focused aspects of real estate, from helping buyers find just the right property to helping prepare presentations and contracts.
“I like to work with people and because of that, real estate has always been an interest of mine. I’m always learning and adjusting in this changing industry,” he says.
Sotir is married with two daughters. He earned a degree in civil engineering from the University of Tirana (Albania) in 1977, and has several other professional certifications also.

Randall studied business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Denise Arnold joins OwnACondo.com with 10 years’ experience as a certified appraiser and six as a licensed real estate sales agent.
“The best part of being a Realtor® is working with people, helping them find the right condo or house,” she says. “I like meeting new people and I have an outgoing personality. I really like the idea of working with buyers exclusively.”
Denise earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Eastern Illinois University. She is a member of the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals, and said she uses her appraisal knowledge to benefit her clients.
“I am not going to let my clients overpay. If they want to, it won’t be because they were not informed,” she explains.
Married, with a daughter and step-daughter, Denise lives in Chicago’s south suburbs.
