According to ChicagolandRealEstateForum.com, John Wozniak of Wheaton-based J. Lawrence homes has been inducted as regional president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC).
The HBAGC inducted Wozniak and a host of other members to its 2011 Regional Board of Directors on the evening of Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Arrowhead Country Club, as well as presenting a number of awards for accomplishments in 2010.
During the induction, the “old days” of the HBAGC were talked about; hundreds of members would pack events that included various luxuries, such as ice sculptures. About 60 people attended the induction.
Wozniak spoke of the hardships the real estate industry has faced, and said he intends to build the HBAGC up to what it was. “We can’t make more out of the market than the market will allow,” said Wozniak. “Our connection with each other has been tested.”
