RE/MAX Golf Outing Raises $7,000
RE/MAX Professionals Select of Naperville, Ill., and RE/MAX Professionals South of Plainfield, Ill., raised $7,000 for Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago at its annual golf outing held June 29 at the Tamarack Golf Club in Naperville. It was the fourth consecutive year in which these two RE/MAX offices have joined forces in support of the nationally renowned hospital.
The event attracted 70 golfers, plus another 25 guests who joined the party for the post-golf barbeque. Funds were raised through entry fees, sponsorships and by contests held at a number of the holes, as well as through the sale of dinner and raffle tickets and a silent auction.
In addition, RE/MAX agent Glenn Sharp, who is a former golf pro, organized a pre-tee-off mini-clinic that offered golfers tips on how to improve their game.
RE/MAX has raised more than $60 million for children’s services at 170 hospitals throughout the United States and Canada.
