Madrona Village

by Chicago Agent

Round Lake

Hoffman Estates-based Lennar has 25 single-family homes still available at Madrona Village, a master-planned community of single-family homes and townhomes in north-suburban Round Lake. For a limited time, buyers of the final homes can save between $10,000 and $25,000 when they use Lennar’s preferred mortgage lender, UAMC.

The community is located on Route 120 between Cedar Lake and Curran roads. Three Design Studio floor plans, measuring 2,937 to 3,467 feet, are available from the builder’s Legends Series of single-family homes. Homes have four bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, basements and attached, three-car garages. Base prices range from $330,990 to $354,990.

“Madrona Village has helped put Round Lake on the map, and now buyers have their final chance to move into this hugely popular community with these last homes,” says Leigh Nevers, VP of marketing for Lennar’s Chicago region. “It’s a great opportunity for buyers to live in an established, yet ‘new’ neighborhood. And with our current incentives these homes offer some of the best values in the area in terms of square footage and finishes.”

Design Studio plans like the Legends Series allow homebuyers to choose from a wide selection of options and upgrades to create a personalized look for their homes.Buyers also work with professional design consultants who ensure their selections match their decorating schemes and budgets.

Another signature feature of a Legends Series home is its family friendly kitchen. For example, in the 3,249-square-foot, Radcliffe floor plan, the kitchen comes standard with 42-inch cabinets and a large preparation island to give families an expansive workspace for cooking.

To facilitate communication between family members, the kitchen is open to the family room, which can be upgraded with a built-in computer center.

“The proximity of the optional computer center is great for parents who want to monitor their kids’ computer use or help with homework while preparing dinner,” says Nevers.

Residents of Madrona Village can enjoy several on-site recreational areas throughout the community, including three wetlands, two parks and five small lakes. They can also take advantage of nearby attractions, such as the Chain-O-Lakes, Grant Forest Preserve, Gurnee Mills Outlet Mall and the Grayslake Public Library.

Madrona Village homeowners will be served by Grayslake High School District 127 and Grayslake Consolidated District 46. Also, a new elementary school located within Madrona Village is under construction and will open in 2007.
